U.O.C. was awarded the International Industrial Innovation Award at EFORT in 2017. We have also filed more than 70 patents related to our products.
Our implants have F.D.A. approval and C.E. marking and comply with ISO 13485: 2016, as determined by the BSI. They have also received approvals from TFDA (Taiwan), NMPA (China), KFDA (Korea), PMDA (Japan), ANVISA (Brazil) and other distributed markets.

Our office is located in Leicestershire, in the heart of England. We are within easy reach of Leicester, Derby, Nottingham and Birmingham and closest Airport is East Midlands just 25 minutes away.

The History of United Orthopedic
United Orthopedic was founded by Jason Lin who, after years of serving orthopedic surgeons as a distributor, cared deeply about providing surgeons with greater access to high quality orthopedic solutions. In 1993, Lin brought together surgeon thought leaders, engineers, and manufacturing professionals to explore innovative, cost-effective ways to create improved and advanced orthopedic surgical solutions.
By listening to what surgeons were asking for, and by integrating the design and production processes, United Orthopedic was able to create high quality, versatile products and provide greater responsiveness to surgeons’ needs and, in turn, improving the clinical outcomes for their patients.
In-house turnkey production is the key to UOC’s success.
Patient safety and positive outcomes have always been UOC‘s highest priorities. To ensure predictable product reliability, UOC does not outsource any of the design or manufacturing work, but instead performs all critical manufacturing processes in-house, supervised by quality assurance teams that include engineers, scientists and inspectors, who continuously monitor and evaluate critical production processes.
