Product Overview

The UTF™ stem designed by United is a self-locking, conical, quadrangular, cement-free stem, partly distally tapered.
The design promotes maximum joint stability, while the complete instrumentation system responds to the different approaches used by surgeons.

Rectangular section: rotationally stable

Dual taper: axial stability (depression)

Proximal press-fit: prevents penetration

refined proximal width in 1 to 2 mm increments depending on size: progressive and precise adjustments

Reduced distal width M/L: prevents excessive distal replacement to reduce the risk of stress-shielding

Standard and lateralised neck (High Offset): improves joint stability
the HO (High Offset) is lateralised without lengthening the limb (from 6 to 8mm depending on the size)

Optimised neck geometry to promote range of motion (ROM) and delay neck/cupula contact (impingement)

Curved end: facilitates implantation irrespective of approach
