United Orthopedic Europe, under the leadership of its President, François Bopp, has actively supported and funded this project, contributing to the creation of the ROBIN experience by combining industrial vision, technological innovation, and a strong commitment to healthcare.

United Orthopedic’s objective is to collaborate with orthopaedic surgeons in the development of innovative digital solutions and services, with the aim of improving clinical outcomes and enhancing healthcare professional satisfaction.

For over 20 years, Orthokey has been shaping healthcare innovation by merging Italian design with expertise in developing solutions that combine functionality and aesthetics. The ROBIN robotic platform is 100% designed, developed, and manufactured in Italy by Orthokey Italia thanks to the collaboration with KUKA Germany.

The development of ROBIN has benefited from financial collaboration with United Orthopedic Europe.

A strategic partnership for smarter surgery

Since 2005, Orthokey has been working in Florence, Italy, with the goal of setting the pace for innovation in healthcare solutions combining: Italian design and its experience in products that synthesize functionality and design.

In the design phase of its solutions, Orthokey pursues three simple but fundamental goals: Their systems must be fast, easy, and accurate. This ensures high-level solutions with short learning curves and high surgeon satisfaction. From this expertise framework and collaboration with European research centres Orthokey is developing innovative solutions to meet the user needs of surgeons and clinical personnel and to integrate technology into the orthopaedic surgery service.
